Jasmine Doan, Founder
Along with being the founder of the Maui Math Circle, Jasmine was the former president of the Seabury Hall Upper School Math Team, the founder of TEDxYouth@SeaburyHall, and the assistant coach of the Seabury Hall Middle School Math Team. Math has always played a large role in Jasmine’s life. She won MathCounts Chapter in 7th and 8th grade, and placed 6th at States in her latter year. In the 8th Grade, she finished 1st in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC 8) for the State of Hawaii and was recognized by the Governor of Hawaii and Mayor of Honolulu for her achievement. In addition, Jasmine was the first place individual winner for the Maui Math League competition for two consecutive years. Now, Jasmine is a junior attending Stanford University, majoring in management science and engineering. She is involved with on-campus organizations such as: BaSES, a business entrepreneurship group, and Intervarsity, a Christian community.
