Maui Math Circle Session 6 (Competition)
On Saturday, April 29th, 2017, a group of middle and high school students from Iao Intermediate, Maui High School, and Seabury Hall volunteered at Pomaika'i Elementary School for the sixth session of the Maui Math Circle.

The students took part in a competition with problems on topics that they had learned about in the previous five sessions, including money, probability, arithmetic sequences, patterns, geometry, fractions and percentages, measurement, the distance formula, conversions, statistics, counting, word problems, ratios and proportions, and Venn diagrams.
After the competition, the top three individual students in each grade level were awarded trophies.
