Maui Math Circle Session 3
On Sunday, April 22, 2018, middle and high school students from Baldwin High School, Iao Intermediate, Maui High School, and Seabury Hall volunteered at Pomaika'i Elementary School for the third session of the Maui Math Circle to help students learn advanced math concepts and problem solving skills.
There were over 70 students from third, fourth, and fifth grade in attendance. The students learned about statistics, counting, and the distance formula and measurement.
We would like to thank our adult volunteers: Clarice Lee, Sheri Takeno and Adrienne Wong.
Thank you also to our student leaders: Marielle Cendana, Nick Heerema, Jolie Jenkins, Gabi Kanoa, Briana Lazo, Nicole Otsuka, Blessiemae Paguirigan, Araeli Prado-Rodriguez, David Shiraki, Kaitlyn Takeno, Katrina Tolentino, Samantha Villon, and Dan Vu.
